Entertaining at home is one of those great privileges that comes every once and a while to remind you of the warmest times with friends and family. I don’t know what it is, but a subtle thrill of joy emerges in me when I lean over my stove to stir a pot of pasta while preheating the oven and also preheating my curling iron to do my hair before guests arrive…
When you’re preparing a homemade meal for the people you cherish, it typically takes a lot of planning, preparation and clean up. But there is something sweet and satisfying about collecting half-empty glasses of wine in your bare feet at the end of a night spent eating, drinking and enjoying good company.
Whether it’s a grill or a stove that you’re slaving over, entertaining is a lot of work, so the key to making it easy on you as a host is to pick simple yet delicious dishes to serve your guests! One of our favorite appetizers for dinner parties is warm, gooey Brie cheese! We have a special recipe at the bottom of the page for Caprese Brie, so keep scrolling to find it below!
This recipe is the perfect combo of French cheese and Italian flavors! And it looks gorgeous in one of our little South & Pine Home Brie Bakers! We have these at the shop in 2 colors and think they make wonderful housewarming or hostess gifts! A wheel of Brie will bake perfectly in this dish. It even comes with a cute little wooden spatula to serve on bread or crackers! And just a suggestion, but it goes great with a glass of wine.

We highly recommend giving this recipe a try for your next dinner party! It’s so quick and easy to prepare, you won’t have much clean up after either, which is a huge win! And if you need a cute little dish to serve in we can help with that too! 🙂 If you try it let us know how it turned out in the comments!
This would make a great gift with the recipe attached! I need to stop by and get one for a gift and one for me!
Thanks so much for your comment Lisa! Would love to see you at the shop!
